Welcome to the Irwin Allen News Network's web pages for Don Matheson. Don is probably best known for his role of Mark Wilson in Irwin Allen's Land of the Giants. Don has also appeared in several other Irwin Allen productions as well as the promotional reel prior to the production of Land of the Giants.

After Land of the Giants finished, Don had continued success in television shows such as Falcon Crest, General Hospital and The Waltons.

In 1995, Don Matheson participated in the Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen documentary which paid tribute to the life and career of producer, director and writer, Irwin Allen.

Don has been a very popular guest at several conventions in the US both on the east and west coast. Most recently Don joined his fellow Land of the Giants cast members for the very unique Land of the Giants audio commentary, plus two conventions in Los Angeles and Las Vegas.

It is with immense sadness that we have learned that our longtime friend and star of Land of the Giants, Don Matheson has passed away on 29th June 2014. Our thoughts at this time are with Deanna Lund, his daughter Michele, and all of his family and friends.
